Yoyel-Leyb (Joseph) Malamut was a writer, poet, editor, playwright, and labor activist, among many other things, in Los Angeles. Hailing from modern-day Ukraine, Malamut was an important historian of his hometown Snitkov and his adopted home of Los Angeles.
